Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Linux/Windows server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Optimize system performance through proactive monitoring and capacity planning
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system restoration procedures
- Automate operational tasks using Ansible/Terraform and scripting languages
- Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Document system architectures, processes, and troubleshooting guides
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server administration
- Strong experience with AWS/Azure infrastructure services and networking concepts
- Advanced knowledge of virtualization (VMware/KVM) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, RHCE, or AWS Solutions Architect preferred
- Proven experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
