Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Linux/Windows server environments supporting 500+ users
- Proactively monitor system health using Nagios/SolarWinds and optimize performance
- Lead cloud migrations to AWS/Azure while maintaining 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN infrastructure
- Execute disaster recovery drills and backup strategy validation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline automation
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain compliance with ISO 27001 standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server 2019+
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash)
- AWS/Azure certification (Solutions Architect preferred)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi/KVM) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, VLANs)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
