Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud solutions
- Oversee network security protocols and vulnerability management
- Automate system administration tasks using Python/PowerShell
- Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization
- Document IT infrastructure and create disaster recovery plans
- Provide tier-3 technical support and mentor junior staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps, or equivalent
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Ability to work flexible hours for maintenance windows
