Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure with emphasis on security hardening and compliance
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios/Zabbix and proactively resolve issues
- Develop automation scripts (Python/PowerShell) for routine tasks and deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT security initiatives and disaster recovery planning
- Document systems architecture, processes, and incident reports
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior IT staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2016+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT security best practices (NIST, CIS)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
