Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtual environments (VMware), and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- Implement and monitor network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Proactively troubleshoot hardware/software issues and perform system upgrades
- Automate tasks using PowerShell/Python to enhance operational efficiency
- Document IT processes and create disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology with business goals
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices
- Scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
