Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments supporting 500+ employees
- Oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure with emphasis on security best practices
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network services across hybrid environments
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups/restores
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Monitor system performance with Nagios/Zabbix and optimize resource allocation
- Document IT processes and create SOPs for team scalability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Certification in CompTIA Server+ or Microsoft Azure Administrator preferred
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
