Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Oversee cloud infrastructure management (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud integrations
- Proactively monitor system health, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize performance
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols
- Implement disaster recovery plans and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Document IT procedures and provide technical guidance to junior staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise infrastructure exposure
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash) and automation tools (Ansible)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent
- Experience with cloud migration projects and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Ability to work flexible hours during maintenance windows
