Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions across AWS and on-premises environments
- Manage Windows Server, Linux, and containerized systems using Kubernetes and Docker
- Lead security initiatives including vulnerability patching, firewall management, and compliance audits
- Develop automation scripts using Python/Ansible to streamline operational workflows
- Provide 24/7 on-call support and incident response for critical infrastructure
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems
- Document system architectures and create runbooks for operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with hybrid cloud environments
- Expert-level proficiency in Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL/CentOS
- Strong background in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancing)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS EC2, S3, VPC) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
- Advanced scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools
- Proven track record of implementing security best practices and compliance frameworks
