Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level Windows/Linux server environments
- Oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure with emphasis on cost optimization
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN systems
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Execute disaster recovery plans and conduct regular security audits
- Automate tasks using PowerShell/Python for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/CentOS)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- AWS/Azure certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS)
