Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable Windows/Linux server infrastructure across on-premises and AWS/Azure environments
- Implement and optimize virtualization solutions (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and SolarWinds
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system hardening against cybersecurity threats
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT service delivery
- Document system architecture and create detailed technical procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise-level system administration
- Expert-level proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Strong background in network administration (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls)
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or MCSE preferred
- Experience with cloud migration and hybrid cloud architectures
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with root-cause analysis methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
