Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network services
- Monitor system performance using Nagios, Zabbix, and SolarWinds
- Execute disaster recovery testing and backup system administration
- Lead security initiatives including vulnerability patching and compliance audits
- Document SOPs and provide Tier-3 technical support for complex issues
- Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipeline automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of system administration in enterprise environments
- Expert-level certifications: CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+ required
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash scripting, and Infrastructure as Code
- Strong knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, and container orchestration
- Experience with cloud migration and hybrid architecture design
- Ability to manage projects and mentor junior team members
- Clearances: Must be eligible for DoD Secret clearance
