Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of on-premise Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure, including VPCs, EC2 instances, and S3 storage.
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls to protect sensitive data.
- Automate routine tasks and workflows using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to increase operational efficiency.
- Manage Active Directory (AD) services, user accounts, and group policies to ensure secure and organized access.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Collaborate with network engineers and developers to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in System Administration or DevOps engineering.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server (2008-2022) and Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for automation.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Administrator are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
