Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Linux/Windows server environments across AWS and on-premise infrastructure
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
- Lead system migrations, upgrades, and capacity planning initiatives
- Develop automation scripts using Ansible/Terraform for operational efficiency
- Provide 24/7 on-call support with rotational schedule
- Document IT systems, processes, and disaster recovery procedures
- Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and virtualization technologies
- Proven experience with network security principles and tools
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform)
- ITIL certification or equivalent process management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
