Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and Terraform
- Monitor system performance using Nagios and Splunk; proactively resolve incidents
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 security standards
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
- Document system architecture and create disaster recovery plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years administering enterprise-level Linux/Windows environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware ESXi/KVM) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code experience
- Certifications (CompTIA Linux+, AWS Certified SysOps, or MCSE) preferred
- Proven experience with monitoring tools and incident response
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
