Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols (Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS)
- Automate deployment and monitoring using Ansible, Terraform, and Zabbix
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups/restores with 99.9% uptime SLA
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain compliance with NIST 800-53 standards
- Mentor junior staff and conduct quarterly security audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with hybrid cloud environments
- Expert-level certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CompTIA Server+
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash scripting, and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP networking, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and storage systems
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Datadog) and ticketing systems (ServiceNow)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex cross-platform issues
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
