Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux server environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection
- Automate deployment and configuration using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and incident response
- Optimize network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
