Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, VMs, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell/Python and scripting tools
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network infrastructure (Cisco/Juniper)
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues with SLA-driven resolution targets
- Document systems, processes, and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/K8s)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+/Linux+, Microsoft Azure, or AWS preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds)
- Scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Ability to work on-call rotation and handle high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
