Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across AWS and on-premises
- Automate deployment workflows using Ansible and Terraform
- Proactively monitor system health and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls and access controls
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP infrastructure
- Lead disaster recovery planning and testing initiatives
- Document SOPs and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server
- AWS/Azure certification (SAA or equivalent) required
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- CI/CD pipeline management (Jenkins/GitLab)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex network issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
