Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments using Ansible and Terraform
- Manage AWS/Azure infrastructure including EC2, S3, and Active Directory integration
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and compliance frameworks
- Automate monitoring with Nagios/Zabbix and troubleshoot complex system issues
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly DR drills
- Mentor junior sysadmins and document operational procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows
- AWS/Azure certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Expertise in scripting (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols and cloud security best practices
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and container orchestration
- Strong problem-solving skills with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
