Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments, including patching, updates, and configuration management.
- Design and implement secure network infrastructures, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
- Monitor system performance, analyze bottlenecks, and proactively resolve technical issues.
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to enforce compliance and protect data integrity.
- Oversee virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical infrastructure failures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy) and Linux administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is highly preferred.
- Valid CompTIA Security+ or higher certification.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
