Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure and hybrid cloud architectures
- Oversee network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and compliance auditing
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Provide Tier 3 support and mentor junior administrators
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps, or equivalent
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash/Python)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and change management processes
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues under pressure
- BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
