Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019) and Active Directory infrastructure
- Manage and troubleshoot hybrid cloud infrastructure including AWS/Azure services
- Oversee network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection systems
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell and Python scripting
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery testing
- Document IT procedures, network diagrams, and system configurations
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid networking
- Certifications (MCSE, CCNA, or CompTIA Security+) preferred
- Advanced scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
