Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across AWS and on-premise infrastructure
- Manage enterprise-level networking including firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN solutions
- Automate system provisioning and monitoring using Ansible, Terraform, and Zabbix
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover drills
- Optimize cloud spending through resource tagging and right-sizing strategies
- Develop and maintain documentation for all IT systems and procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows Server
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Strong scripting capabilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- CCNP or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proven track record in implementing ITIL best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with incident management experience
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance within 90 days of hire
