Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across AWS and on-premises infrastructure
- Automate deployment and monitoring using Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
- Manage enterprise-level networking including Cisco firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs
- Ensure 99.9% uptime through proactive monitoring and rapid incident response
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly DR drills
- Lead security initiatives including vulnerability scanning, patch management, and compliance audits
- Mentor junior team members and implement knowledge-sharing practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Linux/Windows Server
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code experience
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent
- Deep knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in hybrid environments
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
