Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-level Windows/Linux server environments
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN infrastructure
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Oversee cloud migrations and hybrid cloud operations (AWS/Azure)
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and incident response
- Automate workflows using PowerShell/Python and configuration management tools
- Document infrastructure architecture and create operational runbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Proficiency with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Proven troubleshooting skills for complex network/OS issues
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
