Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux/Windows server environments including virtualization (VMware/KVM)
- Implement and monitor cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms
- Oversee network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Develop automation scripts using Python/Ansible for operational efficiency
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and lead disaster recovery initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert proficiency with Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server 2019+
- AWS/Azure certifications (e.g., SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator)
- Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Security certifications (Security+, CISSP preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours for maintenance windows
