Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain server infrastructure including Windows Server and Linux environments
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement proactive solutions
- Manage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Oversee network security protocols, firewalls, and access controls
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible or similar tools
- Document procedures, create runbooks, and maintain configuration management
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and scripting (Python/Bash)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
