Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server/Linux environments across on-premise and AWS/Azure cloud platforms
- Monitor system performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios, proactively identifying bottlenecks
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN infrastructure for multi-site operations
- Execute disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly backup validation tests
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline automation using Ansible/Terraform
- Document system architectures and create SOPs for operational procedures
- Mentor junior administrators and provide Tier-3 support escalation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience administering enterprise Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL/CentOS environments
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS/Azure services (EC2, S3, VPC, Azure AD) with certification preference
- Proven experience with virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification required
- Experience with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to resolve complex outages
