Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and Azure cloud platforms
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy infrastructure
- Monitor system performance using Nagios and Splunk; troubleshoot outages proactively
- Automate workflows using PowerShell and Ansible for operational efficiency
- Coordinate disaster recovery drills and backup system testing
- Document SOPs and create technical knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with network engineers to ensure seamless IT operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Ubuntu/CentOS Linux
- Azure certification (AZ-104 or AZ-140) or equivalent cloud experience
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS benchmarks)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
