Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows/Linux server environments using VMware and Azure
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network infrastructure (Cisco/Juniper)
- Oversee cloud migrations and hybrid cloud architecture (AWS/Azure)
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and SIEM monitoring
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell/Python/Bash
- Provide 24/7 on-call support with rotational schedule
- Document infrastructure and create disaster recovery plans
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing)
- VMware vSphere and/or Azure Administrator certification required
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible)
- Knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
