Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Linux and Windows environments).
- Manage and troubleshoot complex network issues, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Oversee identity and access management (IAM) including Active Directory administration and multi-factor authentication setups.
- Implement and monitor disaster recovery and backup solutions to ensure data integrity.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell) to improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular system audits and security patching to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Provide Level 3 support and mentor junior system administrators.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification is a plus.
