Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain complex system environments across Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server architectures.
- Cloud & Virtualization: Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure and utilize VMware/Hyper-V for virtualization solutions.
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure adherence to industry compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Automation & Scripting: Develop Python or Bash scripts to automate routine tasks, improve system efficiency, and reduce manual errors.
- High Availability: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime for critical business applications.
- Collaboration: Partner with DevOps and Development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Operating Systems: Deep technical proficiency in Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and firewall configurations.
- Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, VPC) or Azure.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
