Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies across 500+ endpoints
- Proactively monitor system health using Nagios/SolarWinds with 99.99% uptime SLA
- Execute disaster recovery plans and backup solutions for critical business systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Ansible)
- Document SOPs and create technical training materials for IT operations team
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2016+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expert-level knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls)
- Certifications required: CompTIA Server+ or equivalent AWS/Azure certification
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell/Bash) for automation tasks
- Proven incident response record with ITIL framework compliance
