Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and cloud-based systems (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking infrastructure
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Develop disaster recovery plans and execute system backups
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document system architectures and create technical SOPs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent) required
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Ability to work on-call shifts and handle high-pressure situations
- BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
