Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure including EC2, S3, VPC, and Azure AD
- Lead security initiatives including firewall configuration, patch management, and compliance audits
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system outages and performance tuning
- Automate deployment processes using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain system documentation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux (RHEL/CentOS)
- Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architectures
- Certification in CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent
- Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Experience with virtualization technologies and containerization (Docker)
- Proven incident management and disaster recovery planning
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex network issues
