Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to oversee the stability, security, and scalability of our critical IT infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the management of our hybrid on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring 99.9% uptime and data integrity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design resilient systems and implement robust security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company's on-premise servers, virtualization infrastructure, and cloud resources (AWS/Azure).
- Configure and troubleshoot Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Implement and monitor security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
- Automate routine tasks and deployment processes using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible).
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior administrators and end-users.
- Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery drills, and performance tuning.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Debian) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is required.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals.
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell are highly preferred.
- CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
