Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based servers, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure, firewalls, and switches.
- Implement and enforce strict security protocols and backup strategies to ensure data integrity.
- Oversee virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and automate deployment processes using scripting.
- Provide advanced Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff members.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash.
- Deep understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
