Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices in Go/Python serving 1M+ daily users
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP, reducing costs by 30%
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Own CI/CD pipeline automation using Terraform and ArgoCD
- Lead security audits and compliance initiatives (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Expertise in at least two modern languages (Go, Python, Java, Rust)
- Proven track record of scaling production services to 10M+ requests/day
- AWS/GCP certification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong background in SRE practices and observability tools
- Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent practical experience
