Responsibilities
- Architect scalable backend systems using cloud-native technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Lead development of RESTful APIs and microservices serving 10M+ users
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Optimize application performance and security protocols
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in at least one modern language (Python, Java, Go, or Node.js)
- Strong proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Proven experience with cloud platforms and serverless architectures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and algorithmic knowledge
- Experience leading agile development cycles and sprint planning
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design projects
