Responsibilities
- Monitor and Respond: Continuously monitor SOC dashboards, SIEM alerts, and network traffic for anomalies during weekend shifts.
- Incident Management: Lead the triage and remediation of security incidents, ensuring rapid containment and resolution.
- Threat Analysis: Conduct detailed forensic analysis of security breaches and vulnerability assessments.
- System Hardening: Apply security patches and updates to servers and endpoints to mitigate risks.
- Access Control: Manage user permissions and access reviews to enforce the principle of least privilege.
- Reporting: Generate and present weekend incident reports and threat intelligence summaries to the leadership team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or network security.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Tools: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto), and endpoint protection.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
