Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise networks during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with rapid forensic analysis
- Implement and maintain intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with on-call engineers during critical incident response
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with threat intelligence tools
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and architectures
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Valid US security clearance preferred
