Our Jacksonville team operates 24/7 to ensure uninterrupted protection for Fortune 500 clients. As a weekend shift specialist, you'll be pivotal in maintaining our security posture during off-peak hours, allowing you to focus deeply on complex threat analysis while avoiding weekday commute stress.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and network traffic during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 12AM-8AM)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on weekend systems
- Collaborate with on-call engineers to resolve security breaches within SLAs
- Generate detailed incident reports and weekly security trend analyses
- Implement and maintain security controls for weekend-specific applications
- Stay current on emerging threats and weekend attack vectors
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations (SOC, NOC, or incident response)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Experience with SIEM platforms and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows system administration
- Ability to work independently during overnight weekend shifts
- Valid US security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
