Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Node.js
- Lead code reviews and implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Docker
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical architecture decisions
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards
- Participate in agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java or Node.js
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching solutions
- Proficient in testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest) and TDD methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
