Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) during night shift hours
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Collaborate with global security teams on threat intelligence and incident response
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive summaries
- Implement security controls and hardening measures for cloud/on-prem systems
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS frameworks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with night shift or rotational schedule
- Expertise in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and threat detection methodologies
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows environments and scripting (Python/Bash)
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
