Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time
- Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols
- Generate comprehensive security reports for client stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop security awareness training
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry standards
- Perform forensic analysis during security breaches
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with active CISSP or CEH certification
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence tools
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and zero-trust architecture
- Proven incident response handling with documented case studies
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys)
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in fast-paced environments
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
