Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure functionality
- Document detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports using JIRA and Confluence
- Collaborate with developers and product managers during sprint planning and retrospectives
- Perform regression testing on web and mobile applications across multiple browsers and devices
- Analyze test results and provide actionable recommendations for quality improvements
- Maintain and update test automation scripts using Selenium and Cypress frameworks
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous integration processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software QA testing with manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and bug tracking systems
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Experience with cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and mobile testing
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia) and basic SQL queries
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to document technical processes
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote environment
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
