Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans to identify bugs and performance issues
- Design and maintain detailed test cases covering functional, regression, and user acceptance criteria
- Document defects with precise severity levels and reproduction steps in JIRA
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions
- Analyze test results to provide actionable insights for product improvements
- Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups to align with development timelines
- Maintain and optimize test automation frameworks using Selenium and Cypress
- Stay updated on industry testing trends and emerging QA technologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in software development lifecycle
- Expertise in manual testing methodologies and test case design
- Proficiency in automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium)
- Familiarity with defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database validation
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance training preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
