Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira, ensuring timely resolution and prioritization.
- Develop and maintain automated regression suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to increase testing efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers within an Agile/Scrum environment to define acceptance criteria and technical specifications.
- Conduct load and performance testing to ensure system scalability and stability under heavy traffic.
- Mentor junior QA testers and conduct code reviews for test scripts to elevate team standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and industry trends to recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Expertise in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Appium) and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with SQL for database verification and querying.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
