Your Role
You will be the first point of contact for technical inquiries, assisting both staff and clients with hardware and software issues. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or career changers to break into the tech industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide tier-one technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, including software updates and security patches.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and procedures in our knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the IT team to upgrade systems and implement new technologies.
- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and security.
- Train end-users on new software applications and IT best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Mac), and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and complete training programs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
