Responsibilities
- Prompt Design & Optimization: Develop and iterate on complex prompt templates to enhance model performance, accuracy, and safety.
- Model Evaluation: Conduct rigorous A/B testing and output analysis to benchmark different prompting strategies against baseline models.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation and style guides for internal prompt engineering practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software engineers and data scientists to integrate prompt engineering workflows into production pipelines.
- Research: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NLP and contribute to internal research on prompt injection and context window management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in AI, NLP, or a related technical field, with a strong focus on LLM interaction.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
- Language: Native or fluent proficiency in English, with exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset capable of debugging complex prompt chains and edge cases.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
